Summary

MIMA Furniture is a Croatian brand with 100% local origins, featuring the original face of the brand – the cat MIMA. You know that the real boss of the house is always a cat. Meow!

Challenge

The campaign aims to enhance awareness and perception of our high-quality, affordable furniture and to drive more traffic to our showrooms and online store. Our objective was to produce a captivating TV ad that could be easily customized to promote different types of furniture and seasonal offers.

Solution

We debated who enjoys spending time at home and interacts with almost every piece of furniture. We decided to create an original character – MIMA THE CAT, considering our communication goal and the emotional connection people have with their homes. MIMA became the central figure in our campaign as a realistic 3D animation. Cats, apart from being very attached to their territory, symbolize warmth, elegance, lightness, wisdom, and dignity. Another reason for our choice was that Croatians love animals – as many as 61% of households own at least one pet.
