Summary
The TV series co-produced with Croatia Film and Croatian Radio Television (HRT) took us on a fun trip down memory lane, back to Zagreb life in the ’60s.
Challenge
Dnevnik velikog Perice (Diary of Big Perica) is conceptually a sequel to one of the greatest Croatian films in history, One Song a Day takes Mischief Away (Tko pjeva zlo ne misli), by Krešimir Golik, 1970, with an IMDb rating of 8.5. The main challenge was to live up to the expectations of a sequel to a masterpiece.
The TV series, consisting of 6 episodes and a top-level soundtrack, turned out to be a hit, at the same time gaining a number of awards.
Solution
The project has enjoyed enviable success on all accompanying digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube). Among other, due to the diversity of the content, two-way communication with users and addressing the viewers in the first person singular (on behalf of Perica).
The series was regularly followed up by interesting posts under which followers tirelessly shared their opinions, laughed and day after day confirmed their enthusiasm for the whole story.
Results
The number of impressions exceeded 4.5 million, the average engagement rate on Facebook and Instagram was a high 11percent,. We collected more than 10k followers, more than 160k reactions and more than 8k comments.
